The Large-Eyed Stone Figures are carvings found on the island of Nuku Hiva in the Marquesas Islands, part of French Polynesia. Dating to around the 11th century AD, these figures are carved into a stone block and are notable for their large, round eyes and stylized human forms.[1171×967]
