This is how I feel right now. Currently applying to about 25 jobs every day just so I can have a chance of getting a job.

The way this is literally me refreshing my email 30 seconds after hitting submit like they’re gonna read it that fast

It sucks cause I think every job I had in my life, I had some form of connection to the hiring manager or multiple people vouching for me.

    4. When I was looking for a job I applied to 40 places and only one got back to me. It was hell

Job hunting really feels like this sometimes, sending applications into the void and hoping one finally responds.

The desperation in his eyes perfectly captures submitting 47 applications and hearing back from exactly one of them asking if you’re available for an unpaid trial shift

Might be helpful might not, but try getting into security. I had zero experience in security but got a position within the month. If you have military or police experience you’re guaranteed a position. And once you go armed it’s like full on job security, keeping armed guards is a security company’s lifeblood.

From standing watch at a bank or sitting and walking around a warehouse places want security to watch there stuff. Most security jobs have a high turnover rate which is a problem but as far as I know it’s usually because a different security job is offering better something for people.

I’ve been with the current company for 3 years and I’ve jumped from 24$ to 35$. My hours are kinda wonky but I only work 3 days, 12 hour shifts, 36 hours a week. I spend my days off doing whatever I want.

Obviously, this is my experience but I do recommend checking it out.
