Odd that he would pray for violence against himself.
You know, used to be this sort of thing was a red flag and an end would be put to it asap.
Something I learned in my university class this year is that catholics used to murder each other in the streets a few hundred years ago over what branch they believed in. They’d assault one another, light people on fire and drag bodies through the streets before stringing them up because they believed anyone who didn’t support their peace-loving god deserved to die in the most inhumane way imaginable.
It’s sad this attitude has never really left organized religion.

This is the Separation of Church and State the U.S so obviously doesnt have.

Maybe we try world leaders that are athiest and don’t have money from billionaires linked to them or those leaders not be rich. Like damn seems so easy have a working class person in charge that actually knows shit. They have people that know shit in specific fields say hey do this in the administration. We’ve fallen so far and guard rails are non existent.
I don’t believe there’s any sort of deity who actually listens to prayers, but if I’m wrong, God has the opportunity to do the funniest shit ever right now.
