This is what a 2.5 hour security wait looks like at one of the world’s busiest airports

    1. I was stuck at the security check in India for two hours… no line, no signs, nothing. Just a thousand stressed, sweating people packed shoulder to shoulder, slowly shuffling forward like penguins

What happened to you guys in America? While you can efficiently bomb other nations and kidnap/kill foreign leaders you can’t prevent children dying in your schools, people dying due to lack of affordable healthcare, and now you can’t even operate airports functionally?

    3. I’m just happy Delta suspended the perks for the government. now they have to wait in line just like the rest of us.

    4. Don’t worry, soon the faster means of transportation would be by horse. Sail boat for intercontinental travels.

I once arrived four hours early to a flight leaving from SeaTac. At least one cruise ship had managed to deposit all of their tourists at SeaTac before. I spent a good 3 hours in a maze that stretched out to the parking lot; did laps; and then wiggled through a skywalk back into the airport. I can’t even imagine the misery if that combo hit what’s happening now; like multiple laps around the parking structure; 7+ hour wait in line which I imagine would end up with people just sitting down on the ground and shuffling their butts slightly every time slack in the line happens. What a fucking nightmare. All of this just to sooth a narcissistic wound of a maniac.

    6. While happening this, only one air traffic controller operating air and ground. New usa.

God the nation is in absolute shambles, insider trading up the wazoo, the greatest of wealth transfers from moronic voters to the pockets of the rich, healthcare in shambles and now you can’t even get on a miserable economy flight without a 3 hour security wait. Meanwhile the rich just get on their private jets.

Feels like a revolution just isn’t far off anymore.

    8. This would be hell for me; I cannot stand lines like that because you have to *hope* you are in the right line and someone is making sure it’s moving in the right direction.

Man for the money you American’s just dropped on Iran killing innocents, you could have paid for all these workers tenfold, with some leftover for healthcare and feeding kids. Oh well, priorities right?

Sparking many business travelers to wonder, 🤔 could this trip been a Zoom call instead!?

    11. I was in that line yesterday —Terminal E at George Bush airport in Houston. 2:40 for me, but my line looked a bit shorter than in this video.

She forgot to mention that the line snakes outside too. Baggage claim—>upstairs AND outside—>inside

I have colleagues who missed their flights on Monday after showing up nearly 6 hours before takeoff. The maze downstairs in this video was only 60% full
