This pointy egg had a pea-size mini egg inside it. The mini egg did not have a shell.

    1. I would not trust anything in that egg. The yolk looks cursed.

Alternatively, we have a giant version of a cell and its soon-to-be mitochondria

Vanishing twin. Like the people who have an extra arm or whatever from when they consumed their own twin in-utero.

The weird speckled tan layer around the mini egg might have been the shell, but it probably didn’t harden.

I once cracked 2 double yolk eggs in a row from a dozen. Then later found that none of the others were doubles.

    6. I’m trying to figure out why the “before” even pictures exist. Has this been happening a lot lately, or did this egg just boil so oddly that it warranted extra documentation?

The wild thing is that unless you cut it in that exact spot, you never would have known.
