In all honesty, I doubt it is dying. Most likely it just got better at disguising itself.
Independent small-scale use of AI generated content by individuals may be decreasing due to a decline in the “novelty factor”. But there’s no way corporations will stop using it in the near future. It undeniably is the most cost-effective solution to many issues, even if it looks bland and sloppy.
