Ngl, it’s a nice garden if you can afford it.

I remember asking my grandfather for a laptop for college. He knew nothing about laptops and I am a gamer so I gave him a list of options, and offered to go half with him. Proceeds to surprise me with a grand new MacBook, needless to say, I returned that shit and my momma cussed me out for being ungrateful. I still don’t regret it, fuck Apple.

I had a MacBook many years ago. Got it at a good price with a bunch of discounts. I remember when I first had trouble with it. It was $200+ plus to fix it. When I asked what happened to it, it was just one little cable that got plugged out. That shit threw me for a loop. Bought the right tools to fix it myself. Had it for about another 5 years and then sold it for parts. Was happy to get rid of it and make back around half the money. Their ecosystem sucks and the Genius Bar is a scam.

MacBook? No thank you.

Got 12 years out of my Wife’s MacBook. Replaced the HD and battery myself. Easy.
I also use Windows and Linux machines at home (they each are for different purposes), but I’ve never had one last as long as the Macs.

I got a used 2013 MacBook Pro in 2015 from the pawnshop. Still works to this day. To homegirls point though, that extra dough from Uncle Sam is a good tool if you use it wisely.

Back when I worked there Apple had the highest black employment of all of the FAANGs, and I still know lots of black people there. Tim might be licking Trump’s rotten taint, but to my knowledge he hasn’t budged on DEI programs or celebrating diversity at the company itself.

Using your tuition refund money on a new macbook is wild when you know for sure you got other expenses and may not be able to finish your degree in 8 semesters.

Yeah, don’t buy a macbook with that check LOL. So many cheaper alternatives. People who have money, and keep money, are because they are sensible with money.

I remember the second or third iPhone. I was such a Fan until i saw what my friend had to do, to get a simple mp3 from the PC to the IPhone. That expierence turned me so off, that i never thought about buying an iPhone. Even today…

Macs aren’t nearly as expensive as they were once and, unlike pcs, they last forever ever.

I remember lying to my mom about how much my MacBook Pro cost at the time. Told her $1800 but it was really around $3400 fully loaded. Craziest purchase ever made at the time
