      Imagine being a TSA worker, working for free. Standing next to a cube agent, who is maybe receiving 50k bonus just for standing around.

      Hahaha, like, they’ve got infinitely more training than the cube agents. And are paid less.

      To think, we’re at a point in the timeline where I’m feeling sympathetic towards the TSA.

      I’m not making excuses for ICE. I’m sure before it turned into this shit show last year. There was black agents working in the agency. I would tell them to quit. Even I’m real about it. There isn’t jobs out here. You got kids, you got responsibilities. You’re ass is at work in the airport in your ICE vest.

      People join up for a quick job with a sign-on bonus but I don’t think they even read the terms of the bonus. (If I’m giving them any benefit of the doubt for why they joined)

      That shit is paid in yearly installments and taxed, youre not getting $50k. It also is for a 5 year obligation, which this administration is obviously only 4 and will likely see ICE funding/positions shrink so you probably won’t even make it to 5 years to get your full bonus. If you’re fired you pay it back, if you quit you don’t get the rest.

      It’s pretty much a military SRB.

      They’re literally disappearing motherfuckers en masse into concentration camps. They’re loudly and proudly declaring this. They’re gutting every function of the government except for the ones doing the genocide(s). We have to stop with this limp wristed “my tax dollars are wasted!” bullshit. ICE standing around and not kidnapping and murdering people is 100% preferred over them “using their budget efficiently.”

      It’s honestly not that far removed from those who become cops or join the military. A cross between “I don’t care about the bad things I hear and see” and “fuck you got mine” going into the whole thing. All ick-worthy, but enough people are uncritical to the point that it doesn’t matter.

      People will be people. I always treat pigs like pigs in private life anyways.
