I don’t see an airport ID badge. What’s the difference between this guy and any member of the public in a tactical vest with a gun? This is terrible security.

What is the fucking point of this? If I was the TSA agent, I would be PISSED. Here is goon standing behind me that is getting paid to stand here while the TSA agent isn’t getting paid. I heard at the ATL airport, one of these goons was asking the help desk if there was a T terminal and how to get there. ATL is a massive international airport, nothing says welcome the US like men dressed up like GI Joe to great them.

Is this a ploy to get TSA agents to quit? Because I would quit if I hadn’t got paid by the government in weeks and the government’s response to that would be to send over guys to stand around next to me getting paid for doing shit all while still refusing to pay me.

So let me see if i understand this: We’re NOT paying the people that are, at lesast theoretically, trained to do security to make flights safe. But we ARE paying for a bunch of thugs to stand over their shoulders to terrorize the public? Awesome. This must be the small government they always talk about. Are we great yet?

I would imagine a lot of ICE agents are currently regretting their choices to sign up under the guise of anonymity.
