They seemed to have been good friends, they both gifted eachother many things and even medals from eachother’s countries. I imagine hosni respected il sung a lot because he sent help to the Egyptian airforce which hosni was a part of (if you’d like to see more photos involving North korea and Egypts relationship I’d be glad to share!)
