Did he miss the memo that all the transgender stuff was voted out of the bill?

    2. now he won’t fund TSA and FEMA **unless** his stupid voting suppression bill is passed, which has fuckall to do with funding…that should work out well for the thousands of federal employees who vote!

      e: and The Coast Guard!

At least he’s finally admitting that the GOP is the reason why DHS is shut down

    4. >I don’t think we should make any deal with the Democrats

Agreed, Diaper Don. Republicans love going back on their deals with Democrats as much as they also love taking credit for Dems bills they voted against.

TBH, I am terrified of the midterms as well.

If GOP wins, we are all screwed.

If GOP loses, quite possibly all hell will break loose.

I don’t think we should pass anything until Trump is impeached, convicted, and removed, then sent to prison for embezzlement and being a pedo.

It’s already illegal under threat of perjury to cast a vote while not a U.S. citizen. Any one who has voted recently should remember checking that box at the end of the ballot. And the ballots are checked for voter fraud. And those who voted illegally are prosecuted. It’s literally already a thing. So please spread and remind the red hats.

“Stay in town for Easter”… But not to swear in a congresswoman or to pass the ineffectual Epstein Transparency Act.

    9. Polymarket has a bet on how long it will take before ICE kills someone in the airport. Before April or June.

    10. Even if you think all the stipulations in the Save act for voter verification are a good thing…implementing them in time for the midterms in 6 months in insane.

Schumer and Co. will cave to a insane concession that sabotages the midterms and the Overton window will reliably shift a few more inches to the right. They are simply waiting for optics and the right moment.

So Trump is making thousands of Americans suffer with long lines at airports across the country just so he can pass his voter suppression bill?

I remember a time, not long ago, when Democrats would be playing nonstop attack ads over shit like this.

Even if he signed the bill into law today, there is no way it would be in place for the midterms. The lawsuits alone will eat up most of the time. But the actual process of turning legislation into policy also takes time. And because states manage elections, that’s 50 entities that have to figure out how to implement the new law.

Oh…and keep in mind most states start accepting ballots 30 days before Election Day. 5 states start 45 days before. So we are talking about mid-September.
