Not really. Still have to pay hundreds a month per person for even healthy people. Ask my mother. She was a healthy college student when her friend drove her back from winter break and lost control, sliding into a guard rail. She lost both her legs and when the car insurance ran out, she had to use her health insurance to cover her prosthetics, PT, etc.
She never let us be without insurance because someone’s else’s mistake could ruin us.
