Elliot and Ruth Handler, since OP didn’t put their names. Both founding members of Mattel, although only Elliot and his business partner Harold “Matt” Matson contributed their names to the company.

Ruth Handler (co-founder of Mattel) created Barbie in 1959, inspired by watching her daughter play with adult-like dolls. Her husband, Elliot Handler, co-founded Mattel with her and later launched Hot Wheels in 1968 after noticing kids preferred realistic, fast-looking toy cars over the slower ones at the time.
