    1. AIPACs candidate didn’t even win that election. They campaigned against the winner of the IL-09 primary too.

    2. If you thought democrats learned anything from 2024. Here they are again voting for AIPAC Candidates over American ones.

      LMAO

Looks like one shitty dark money PAC having an online slap fight with another shitty dark money PAC to me.

    4. > Katherine Abughazaleh was born on March 24, 1999, in Dallas, Texas, to a Palestinian American father and an American mother. Her maternal grandmother, Taffy Goldsmith (née Merrill), was a prominent Texas Republican for four decades, working on John Tower’s campaign for the Senate in the early 1960s, and serving as president of the Texas Federation of Republican Women in 2004 and 2005. Her paternal grandfather, Taher Abughazaleh, was from Jerusalem; Abughazaleh says that her grandparents had to flee to Kuwait during the [Nakba](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nakba).

AIPAC isn’t a foreign lobby tho it’s domestic it’s just about foreign relations

It’s also not the only foreign relations lobby there are the Armenian and Taiwanese lobbies for example and it’s not that big of a lobby with occupational/industrial lobbies like farmer or pharma or oil being much more prominent

You can still be against the lobby but at least be aware of how it actually works and what it actually is

    6. I cannot wait until foreign money in our elections is illegal. Kat actually gives a shit about Illinois. You know I’ve been watching progressive candidates get slayed in this manner for a long time.

Hell you can trace most of their current tactics back to the 70’s. I realize Hunter Thompson was a wild man, but he was insanely intelligent, check out how his run for sheriff went.

We need systemic changes guys. We need to break the up the puppet media so people can be informed. We need Epstein trials, campaign finance reforms… so many things need done. The media thing, the management of public perception is a problem that lands squarely before voting takes place. How do you fix that with a vote?

I’m firmly in the need for a general strike camp followed quickly by much needed reform.

Edit: I’ve got some pinned posts you may find relevant. One is strike goals, another is critical reform, there is also an introduction into whose ideas you’re reading and a post to help people avoid ideological pitfalls.

Aipac is a cancer and a blight on US politics.

Fuck Israel. Fuck Aipac. Get out there and vote. Aipac doesn’t care about us, nor do they care about the US. Aipac only cares for the continued support of the apartheid regime that is Israel.

Remember the USS Liberty because I won’t ever forget it.

    8. And they only won by a small margin at that. Biss (the democrat who won the primary) only got 30% of the vote, while kat got 26%.

America wake up- honest question, what is Israel’s contribution to the world? As a country- seems like they are the welfare cheats every right wing hates? Can some one explain it as I’m really unsure here

Congrats America, foreign governments control the outcomes of your elections. You great again yet?

    11. Uh, yeah, foreign groups injecting money and helping decide your own elections should be illegal. Like, very illegal.
