Finally understood the meaning of the slur. It was confusing for me because I thought both were ethnically same divided by borders.

      Thanks OP.

    2. rn Malaysian refers Indonesia as “Konoha” because they copies what Indonesian netizen do with self censor satire

Holy shit it’s Kobo and her uncle-dad (I think she said that in a stream not too long ago)

Indon is a slur? Man, how bad they were offended in the 80s to the point of thinking the nickname they referred themselves from 60-70s as insult?

Honestly, I suppose you can also insult a Malaysian, not by calling them Malaydesh or something. You call em Indonesian as an insult

Is it a slur? Tbh i’m more annoyed with how it cuts off a syllable, it’s pronounced in-do-ne-sia, just call it indo since it’s already half in the name anyways. It’s like calling a malaysian mala or malays.

    6. Im Indonesian, i didn’t know this was considered a slur lmao. The one i know is when you change the 2nd N to a G.

Never thought I would ever see this sub talking about a topic that is only relevant to us Malaysians and Indonesians.

I love that one joke i saw in malaysia sub awhile ago, arguing about Indonesian dont need to make up slurs lol

“Malaydesh this Malingsia that, if you want to trigger a malaysian just call them Indonesian.”

    9. funny how some of their folks trying to counter the claimed “slur” by calling us Malay. Like sure bud, that’s what we put in our registration form why would we be triggered. You just look like an idiot with whatever attempt you tried.
