I sent postcards to my family while I was at sea. I wrote them backwards so they would have to hold them in a mirror to read. Next time home, they had bought me a left-handed watch (Goofy). It was a hoot!! And yes, I’m left-handed, so clever on multiple fronts!

    2. “This watch I got here was first purchased by your great-grandfather during the First World War…”

I had a beautiful clock which went counter-clockwise in the apartment I used to live in.

    5. I’ve got a watch line that, it has the words:

      “SEILF EMIT”

      Written on it.

I have to admit, it took me way too long to find out what that meant.

I’m sure I read a story where someone became immortal through a watch or clock like this.

This is how I picture a clock in my head! The 3 on the left because we read left to right. This is so satisfying lol

I’ve been staring at this for a while, and I am sorry to report your watch doesn’t tick at all.

There’s missing punctuation in the title, and it made me read it in my head as though the missing punctuation was commas. Like “friends, romans, countrymen”.

Girlfriends! Grandads! Backwards watch that does indeed tick backwards!
