Once again the respectable IRA and the bastard PIRA are different organizations.
For example, the writer of “Come Out Ye Black and Tans” a very good pro IRA song from the 60s, was extremely against the PIRA.

I think far, far more pro-IRA songs were made by Irish bands than anti-IRA.

Don’t forget the institutional child abuse that they got up to.

Wasn’t Zombie against the violence of The Troubles in general? That’s how I hear the song every time I listen to it.

I love how you can directly see this person got triggered by the anti-British army post made recently and then jumped up to quickly make this one using the exact same format
Additionally this doesn’t point out that the Protestant paramilitaries were the first ones to target civilians. Not justifying it, but this meme makes it seem like that was the IRA’s idea when the loyalist forces targeted Catholics first and the IRA bombings were all after both the loyalist paramilitaries bombed civilians and after the Para Regiment shot and killed unarmed civilians.
Once one side makes civilians a target, you can’t really blame the other side for doing the same when the government shoots civilians first then expects the insurgents to follow the rules.
Additionally numerous British soldiers have discussed in interviews how on patrols they would stop near civilians to dare the IRA to open fire, literally using civilians and many times children as human shields
