    1. Doesn’t look like you need any training for this sensei position. It looks really fun and I’d do it for free.

    2. Sensei: I’m teaching them “discipline” and “leadership skills”.

Also sensei: That’ll be $250 a month. Per kid

Great fun for the adult and for the children. I used to love stuff like this when I was made of rubber. Now I’m 34 and made of porcelain.

Looks like loads of fun, though I’m not sure if this is healthy for brain development.

    5. We do this in BJJ for kids classes; they go absolutely crazy and love it. Reinforces their ability to breakfall.

    6. “You boys have brought shame and dishonor to this great and noble sport. ‘Tis a sad day for strip mall dojos everywhere.”

Another way to learn that every vote counts. Yours, yours and yours sunshine 💞🌞

    8. Maybe it’s cause I’m a Hockey Coach…

I’m all for Kids martial arts. But purposefully head-shotting kids is fucking dumb. Not funny….

The sheer jarring… is risk of concussion. Kids that age should not have an adult initiating any impact.

Yes. It looks like fun. Kids look like theyre having a blast… till they’re not. Do you think the kids will speak up?

Some will say it’s toughening up lil Johnny…

But I’d argue you can train them other ways to take a hit. And they’d be just as enamoured with the nerf dodgeballs. With less jarring impact to head neck/shoulders and allows them to still work on foot work, speed and agility. Plus the other skills lost in this video- collision avoidance and self preservation….

You could teach them to block the dodgeballs with forearm/hand/arm/leg blocks and potentially adding other hand/foot work as you go.

PS. I’m not against hand to hand combat. I’m entering my 7yo into it for self defence. She’s already in hockey (goal and skater), swimming, gymnastics and soccer.

    9. “Head shot.”
      “Double Kill”
      “Triple Kill”
      “Overkill”
      “Killtacular!”

Need to start with wrenches “If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge a ball!”

Those kids are running and not looking where they’re going, kid on kid and kid on wall collisions are gonna happen often.

I’m suddenly feeling a lot more confident about my me vs 50 toddlers or 1 bear choice.
