My store-bought sushi came with chopsticks you have to screw together

Huh, interesting. I’ve also had Sushi like this where the Chopsticks were essentially “extendable” with one piece essentially just being a tapered pipe that the other could friction-fit into. But they were kind of wobbly when extended. So this may be a better solution!

That’s a good idea for the cases where the box is too small for regular chopsticks.

I can’t decide if this is a brilliant engineering solution or if someone at the chopstick factory just had a really rough Monday. Either way, it’s definitely mor mildly interesting.I can’t decide if this is a brilliant engineering solution or if someone at the chopstick factory just had a really rough Monday. 4. I assume it’s to make it fit into a smaller container, it’s definitely a mildly interesting solution to that problem. My store bought sushi has the chopsticks available in a separate area to grab if needed. I like that because I have my own chopsticks at home and with my lunch bag at work so I prefer to use my own rather than when they make me have to take them.

cool way to save on packaging. i have 2 pair of reusable chopsticks, but they just slide together, not screw. great for carrying in my purse/lunchbox without taking up a ton of room
