I hate that it’s always men who get the flak for this, when in reality…

    1. People just call them different names to avoid admitting that the behavior is exactly the same

      You’re playing a dangerous game op……

First thing everyone’s mind goes to when you post shit like this is that you’re projecting… And insecure about it.

Word of advice, meme subs aren’t a place for nuances and well thought out arguments. There’s usually a ur mom joke lingering around every corner.

    3. True, female incels exist too it’s just society rarely talks about them. Anyone here seen examples or experiences they wanna share?

    4. Get the flak for what? Turning one element of individual reality into a toxic identity?

Fun fact: the term itself was coined by a woman referring to her own situation. It’s the ridiculous conflagration of online dudes that turned it into what you’re thinking of today.

Holy shit, wow! It’s almost as if they’re human too, and susceptible to the same behaviours as their male counterparts.

I don’t know whether you’ve made a good point or a bad one. It’s more of a “I gotta go away and think about this some more” place you’ve dropped me in

While true, there is one huge difference.

Female incels tend to stay at home, trash talk a bit on the internet and (generally) ignore men.

Male incels are loud, vocal and (sometimes) violent, to the point where bad things happen to large groups.

We focus on one of them, because one of them is a huge problem.

    8. The female ones aren’t shooting up schools and movie theaters. 97.7% are incel dudes.

So, yes, they can have similar behavior, but very different ideas of how to express them.

    9. The women don’t generally tend to actively encourage others towards sexual assault or drive cars into crowds of men as deluded revenge. Not saying it doesn’t happen, it’s a generalization, and numbers on sexual assaults and things tend to be a bit iffy because men tend to under report, but certainly most high profile cases have been by incel men. And considering a large number of human cultures consider men better than women on a subconscious level (that’s not hyperbole, it’s unfortunately a truth of our world), if a woman *were* to commit acts of the same scale, I feel it would get a lot more media attention purely due to bias against women.

Men are missing the point in two ways. Femcels are different than incels. Yes, they have options, but when all your options are awful, that is still forced isolation that you didn’t choose to be in. But being alone is still better than being abused.

It is like arguing a homeless man can’t be hungry when he refuses to eat a hot dog on the ground that is covered in dirt and ants.

Ok? Male incels are the issue though. They are shooting up schools, hurting women, and actively trying to fuck up the government even more.

    12. Yes, but femcels are objectively less problematic than incels. Downvote me all you want but I can’t remember the last time I heard a femcel commit a hate crime or genuinely assault somebody, whereas incels have a proven track record.

No. Incel isn’t just someone who doesn’t get any ass – it’s an identity. Incels are guys who believe they are owed booty and act like that.

I had the sad experience of a friend becoming a femcel. It sucked bad but they eventually left my friend group after all agreed to stop hanging out with them

I believe it. I know someone who never gets it because she always acts in a way that is unappealing to all human beings.

    16. The topic aside, it’s been years since I seen an old 2000s meme format. I think we are healing as a society.
