If you view the political affiliation of which Americans agree or disagree of this war, you will see the obvious split between Dems and MAGAs.

You can’t force European countries to help out in a war they didn’t initiate, fair enough. I’m sure the EU is hardly impacted by the war so far, right? As soon as they feel the closed off Strait of Hormuz is starting to affect their shipping and oil supplies, I’m sure they’re ready to ante up.
