We shouldn’t be laughing too hard about Americans. Don’t forget who our EU-leaders obey until the present day.

But don’t worry, if we just stop eating avocado toast, that will fix all our issues. 🙄

Switched insurances at work and my prescriptions actually went down 60 dollars for a three month supply. It was such as welcoming win. Little, but these days a win is so hard to comeby

Hey I just had to replace my 20 year old furnace. Plus we replaced our just as old AC unit. To the tune of $8600. And that was with a $2000 discount for getting them done together. Then I needed work done on my car. Cue $1600. But it needed allot of maintenance that I should’ve done and did all at once.

Brotha I just dropped $3k on car PARTS to fix my wife and I’s cars, which I’m not even sure will pass emissions at the end of the year even after all this work, and I still have to somehow save money to move and put another huge deposit down because the rent has raised so much along with us no longer getting a discount on it.
Im replacing 2 tires every year atp for around $250 each. Somehow full time parents with plenty of help from family for kids, and we still are having to penny pinch everything.
And it always seems like as I crest the hill of another big purchase and maybe just maybe we can start an emergency fund, something else big happens and I’m back to my $50 net worth.

Whaaaa…. To get a $400 ER copay you’re paying at least $400 a month for that insurance right? $800 if you have a family

Ok but unironically, what do we do in this kind of situation? File for bankruptcy and go through the course? Then save any extra cent you get if the bankruptcy gets approved?

Lol, my max out of pocket is $8000. Took my wife to the ER the other nights it was $10,000, my responsibility, $8000. So at least we have that going for us. This is the year to get sick I guess. It’s all free now. Oh also I pay $1400 a month out of my paycheck for my family’s health insurance.
