Paella is not our main dish, it’s more like the cultural dish of a region and then our favourite dish to overprice so stupid tourist pay more than twenty euros for a filthy bowl of rice that it’s not even full, and It’s not even that good, and to add salt to the bruise… sometimes isn’t even paella.

So, in Vietnamese we have 2 different words for rice, one of them is “cÆ¡m” which is for cooked rice, and if you’re wondering, yes saying “cÆ¡m” fast enough will make it sound a bit similar to c*m.

    3. There’s zero rice in most Spanish cuisine, especially in the north. Check out “cocido galego”, every Sunday in any grandma’s kitchen, and to most of the world that wouldn’t scream “Spanish cuisine”.

    4. Only because rice could handle long ship voyages.
All they needed was getting seawater in pot and boil it. And they could eat  it with anything.
