It’s not just one black kid. It’s exactly four boys (one black, three white) and one white girl all about the correct age in the correct time hanging out together just like the stranger things kids.
If there were six kids, or two girls, or some other combo, this wouldn’t be a good comparison. But it’s as close as it could be.
