Damn. If only we had signed a treaty with them about 15 years ago that was designed to peacefully prevent them from developing nuclear weapons and eventually bring them out of state terror sponsorship and into the accepted fold of nations.
I mean, it’s not like 74 year old man elected president would pitch a hissy fit and tear up such a treaty when all of his national security experts and diplomatic leadership (as well as all the international inspectors and observers) were telling him the treaty was working, right?
And the same guy, now senile and the oldest president ever, surely wouldn’t start an unconstitutional war with a bunch of changing rationalizations just to try and get the very same type of treaty he fucked up in the first place. Right?

Yea I’m old and it seems like I was hearing this all my life. That and “the communists are coming”. For fuck sake I think I have met 2 people in 6 decades that identified as communist (both excellent human beings BTW) yet the first 30 years of my life I was still thinking they were coming somehow. I mean, hasn’t the US and Israel continued to do significant sabotage on Iranian nuclear facilities over the years? Hell, I remember that they did one of the most sophisticated cyber operations everywhere- literally spreading a computer virus to computers globally- that would only activate if they were at a facility where there were centrifuges in the exact number and model as the Iranian centrifuges. And it utterly destroyed their enrichment process. They’ve also been literally assassinating Iranian nuclear scientists for decades now.
Like, just because the prediction hasn’t changed doesn’t necessarily mean it isn’t true. The clip is eye-catching, but without actual information on the progress of the Iranian nuclear program (which is a state secret) or estimates of the effects of these operations, then its just eye-catching. If someone could provide disinterested (or neutral) expert opinions on the state of the Iranian nuclear program over the years, that would be very helpful.

In defense of this leech, every time he talks about this issue, he along with the US engages into ops to “halt/slow/cripple” this “progress (if any)”.
So it’s not that Iran has not been fabricating or trying to fabricate nuclear arsenal. It’s that he has acted against it every so often.
