My father in law is 6’5” and is a retired USAF colonel. Trump is full of shit (I know, I was as surprised as you).

    2. my friends 6’7″ 20 year old is enlisted in the army. and assumably first choice for every pick-up game on base

Too tall on the outside, too small on the inside? Yeah. That fits.

But curiously, none of Trumps relatives have served. Not great grandpa, grandpa, dad, him, his sons, his brothers. No one.

Barron can still serve. Exemptions are made all the time for these types of things, from feet being too big, arms too long, vision not being as good, whatever.

Barron is continuing a family tradition of draft dodging. His grampa fled Germany to evade Prussian drafting. And don’t forget Donnie’s quintuple dodge. Proud supporters of the US military

If the Navy could tell my friend’s sister to just “slouch a little during her physical” to hide the slight curve in her spine then Baron can take his shoes off.

    6. Friend of mine served in the Army was 6’5″ His given nickname was Big Bird, his best friend was a 6’3″ Black man built like a tank called Moose.

    7. Honestly, if Baron did “serve” they’d use it as one big photo-op and stage a bunch of fake heroics to peddle to their base. If Trump was smart he would have him serve as a BS patriotism ploy.

Alright but has anyone actually ever seen his legs? Are we sure he is not wearing stilts?

If you actually believe Barron is conveniently 6’9” then he is technically correct.

    10. The claim that this was something Trump said or is an official statement from the White House isn’t true. This is a statement someone on the internet made up.

However, the current maximum for military service is 80” or 6’8” but every thing has a waiver. I was too skinny to join the Marines I weighed 148 pounds. The minimum was 150. I requested and was granted a waiver.

The claim that Barron is over the height maximum is unsubstantiated. His height is self reported. Send him to MEPS and let the MEPS doc determine his actual height.

But in the end, if he is actually 1 inch too tall. I’m sure the POTUS can get his son a waiver to serve in his father’s war just the most patriotic family in history would want to do.

I’m totally sure Trump wasn’t a coward and that he would have bravely and honorably served in Vietnam if it wasn’t for those damn bone spurs! Whyyyy god whyyy do you give him bone spurs!!! Whyyyy!

Tell that to my family of giants. My uncle is over 6″ and my mom is 5″8′ and they served in the Navy with no problems.

    13. Put him on the front lines. Fuck parachute all of the nepo-babies in first. Their parents are the ones gaining from the warfare. Let them fight for it.

    14. Wasn’t Barron supposed to fix “the cyber” ten years ago? Did he ever finish with that?

    15. Under normal standards, correct. But like anything, a waiver can be submitted and approved. And see how his father is commander and chief, I’m sure it would be approved if he wanted it to be.
