    1. Leave the jokes about a second civil war to the maga brainlets. (It’s actually not far from Kremlin agitprop.)

Patriotic Americans care more about the institutions that make it great than any cult of personality around one politician. Trump is just an object lesson for history about what not to do, and what rules need to be codified to prevent something like him from happening again. Apparently we can’t trust a president to be of sound mind and solid moral character. Lesson learned.

    2. You all know that you can convince X number of states and have a constitutional convention that bypasses the federal government right?

    3. there isn’t going to be a revolution.

maybe if we continue on this downward path for like another 50 years.

But there is no way that the pampered little dips that cheered with Jill Stein are going to fight a war when they can’t even show up to vote in a primary.

I mean if there is an armed uprising it’s definitely not going to going to be the people that you want

In 4 years of Biden, there was more concern with the progressive agenda than codifying the “norms” that Trump1 romped through. They failed to prosecute. They HAD the Epstein files.

Remember this as every disclosure comes dripping out like water torture.

Merrick Garland had the Epstein files. THEY decided we couldn’t handle the truth.

I do not trust our nation to either side. Justice is too difficult for them. Justice has been made too costly to push past privilege. Revolution it is, because apparently, all you need is extreme privilege to rape the 13 year-old daughters of America.

Neither will happen. A majority of the country would just rather sit on their hands and wait it out.

    6. Americans have chosen the third option:

Complacency because doing anything takes time and effort and they have bills to pay and it’s not really their problem anyway.

      Yeah you kinda do.

You can also not take any pill and pretend like nothing ever happened. Which is what will happen in the end.

    8. This is a mistake in logic called false choice which implies that the choices offered are the only possibilities.

In real life, there are more possibilities that can include but are not limited to the ones offered.

False choice, like other rhetorical tricks, takes advantage of a human preference to do less work compared to working longer or harder.
Mental work uses 20% of body energy used to power the brain. Sustained complex thinking feels as exhausting as other work because it uses up your energy. You need to rest to build up the energy you lost.

    9. America doesn’t have the balls to convict trump to the full extent of his crimes

    10. this is pretty much it

use the existing framework or make a new one.

if i was an elite i’d prefer the eisting framework to one that might involve something… unpleasant.

    11. *Third american revolution. The second was when the United States Government threw out the articles of confederation.
