That moron went on the late night shows and said Ukraine had no chance.

      That they should just surrender.

      She gets a lot wrong.

    2. it would affect young voters the most.

most are in college, registering for the first time with no access to the required documents.

The irony of her statement is that married women whose current legal names may differ from their birth name will have to go to significant disruption of their lives and go to considerable expense to get documents proving their citizenship, as their names must match what’s on their voting record or new voter registration. Many potential voters are unaware of what this act will do to them.

The House has already approved this. Email your senators to VOTE NO on S.22, the SAVE Act, aka as the Save American Voter Eligibility Act. Find your senators at http://www.senate.gov. Look in the right upper corner for “Find Your Senators”.

This would also end voter registration by mail or at voter registration drives or at the time of in person voting, cutting off many new voters.

Wife wanted to change her name.

But it requires work. So she didn’t. That’s cool.

Why did she know it was work because she already switched her name because of her abusive father.

You know who doesn’t change names often? Dudes.

This is a blatant return to when ladies couldn’t vote. Pepperidge farm remembers.

Voting id is not outrageous in my opinion. However, the next step is a mandatory vote. You have to vote. Or get a fine. Which means, that the US government will do everything within is legal power to help you register and vote, and if you don’t you receive a fine.

If they don’t serve their civic duty to make that vote available to you, it’s on them.

    5. Are they whores or are they staying home? Logistically thinking here, how can they whore it up if they never leave their cats?

Um… she was mocking right-wingers who say that democratic women are just single cat ladies, and asking if republican women are not in fact the ones in trouble. You clearly didn’t watch the show.

I only have a little paperwork left and I’m all set. Took care of most of my name change needs within three weeks of getting married.

      My rightoid friends though…

most of them wouldn’t even know what a real copy of their birth certificate actually looks like and are still of the belief that this just means “you gotta have your drivers’ license to vote”

Joke’s on her, I’m leftist, married, still have a bunch of cats, and *didn’t* change my name. 🥳

Republicans idolize a man who’s on his 3rd wife that happens to be a mail order prostitute from Slovenia. They have such a moral high ground…

    11. This post really takes what she was saying out of context. She was a riot on the show.

    12. And then those women have to either get their birth certificate ‘corrected’ to their married name or not take their husband’s name. Ask Veep James Donald Bowman to reconcile the Birth Certificate name **only** policy with the Traditional Value of surname assumption; or ask his wife, Usha Chilukuri.
