    1. Battle of Austerlitz never used trenches but the movie Napoleon does. Never ceases to amaze me how wrong that movie is.

On one hand, trenches were used at the time (Yorktown) by the French army at that time, on the other, it definitely didn’t happened at Austerlitz

    3. I watched waterloo on saturday and I was pausing the movie very often to tell my father just how correct everything was, from the uniforms to the regimental flags, to the people depicted, the things they said. So much better than this ridley scott stuff

    4. I laughed out loud during waterloo scene. Two armies just parked in range of enemy cannons and sat there doing nothing until napoleon ordered to attack and his cannons was immediately able to wreck english cannons. And when french cavalry charged english army decided to leave their anti cavalry fortifications to fight in the field. I finally absolutely lost it when isekaed ww1 era sniper appeared

Turns out somehow having a personal grudge towards Napoleon and being narcissistic wont make you make a good Napoleon movie

    6. At least trenches were used in sieges. The most outrageous thing about that movie was the scoped rifle imo
