Just cover it with a tarp and it’s a solid support. Just add another support to extend it.

When you gotta hang your bench up to dry
like those 1 penny sit-ups or 4 penny coffin deals they used to have back in the old days.
or they can drape a sheet/tarp over it and they have their own shelter for the night.
How about instead of manufacturing hard to use benches we just house these people

I’m all about some regular benches but I also think there should be enough state sponsored programs that nobody needs to sleep on a bench outside in public.
