Saudi Arabia has been running the Saudi Conjoined Twins Programme since 1990. The government covers literally everything, including the surgery, flights, hotel, and rehab for the kids.
The surgery usually take 10 to 20+ hours and require teams of 40+ doctors and nurses. With 67 sets of twins successfully separated till now.
EDIT: after reading the wars in the comments, obviously your opinion on an evil country shouldn’t change just because of this sort of thing which is clearly a marketing campaign but im sure glad they didn’t spend it to do something worse so can we just appreciate that kids are being helped?

Saudi Arabia does not give a flying fuck about children. Stuff like this is pure PR for them. They are spending billions on trying to look less evil, but never forget that they are FUCKING EVIL.
They also separate journalists from their heads entirely for free

They are still complete pieces of shit.

Slaves in the roman empire had at times more rights than literally anyone who is not an MBS sucking saudi male in this murder kingdom. Women, queers, journalists, all kinds of “workers, home helpers and servants” (slaves) – you name it, worthless in the eyes of the state.
So unload your PR for authoritarianism somewhere else.

Turns out that if you send them to the US, it will also get done for no cost since ICE loves to separate families.
One is alive, and the other is in the afterlife due to the 9/11 attacks.

Now of they could stop committing genocide against the Yemenis, that’d be great too.

That’s great, but Saudi Arabia still holds public executions with swords.

Don’t try to sanitize this regime. There’s nothing noble about them.

I highly respect the doctors and medical personnel responsible for making this happen 🙂

Awesome outcome with a terrible motive. I dont think this is out of the kindness of their hearts. This is a clear attempt to garner good will for a terrible regime. I support the procedures but I do not support Mohammed Bonesaw.

Whoever posted this is obviously a Saudi shill.
They love the twins. Unless they’re towers.
If the Saudis are good at one thing, it’s ripping families apart. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jamal_Khashoggi
