There’s a reason that there has never been an openly gay player in NHL history. Hockey players and their families are some of the worst people I’ve ever dealt with. I always dreaded when the local team would come into the restaurant after a game. Just a bunch of 20 year olds acting like the worst thirteen year olds and their bitchy family members.

I think it is less of surprised at they are right wing and more of how much they are willing to just by pass and ignore to not disagree. Being thrilled that the pedophile rapist in chief wants to spend time with you is just gross, but like we all know they are ignoring or discrediting the allegations, but to do so after disrespecting basically your fellow Team USA athletes is a whole new level of dissonance they have to stoop to.
I mean really if a sitting president was caught on a hot mic calling them meat heads with the highest paid dentists in the country I wouldn’t expect either team to attend either.
