Canadalians are not only spoon fed but they are policed in every imaginable way. We are such a suppressed nation that the newly landed immigrants are a shock to our society. Their culture. Their politics. Their religious beliefs upend Canadian heritage, and people become internally hateful, prejudiced and unhinged it’s actually quite funny

You cannot reason with people who were never taught what rational reasoning is. These group of people are so woefully ignorant that they don’t even know they are ignorant and misinformed. Their reality is shaped strongly by echo chambers and anything going against the believes of the echo chamber is silenced.
The problem in America is way too much focus on freedom. Absolute freedom leads to chaos like what’s been happening in the US lately. Actually even before Trump you had the extreme left believes dominate and now it’s swung to the extreme right
