Ok, sure, but this is kind of silly.
The first is clearly a studio shot where he’s made up to look his best, and presented in colour, and the other looks to be a candid shot, either shot in B&W or presented decolourized in order to make it look rough. And are we meant to think that he didn’t smoke in 1966?!

The entirety of the Beatles’ career was less than nine years.
The Beatles career is completely insane, they crammed so much into a short space of time. They released 12 albums in 7 years, they went from nothing to some of the most famous people on the planet in that time, and they were all still in their 20s when The Beatles broke up.
I am quite surprised by how fast can they grow their facial hairs in such a short amount of time, all 4 members.
