Diddy is a sick bastard, and he probably abused many people we don’t even know about.
Still, the feds tried to charge him with running a human trafficking ring because he paid for plane tickets for the male sex workers he invited to his freak-offs with Cassie. The idea was that, technically, he transported people across state lines for sexual activities. It didn’t hold up because the sex workers were consenting adults who testified multiple times and never said they were forced to be there.
They should’ve focused on charges like sexual assault and domestic violence. Instead, they tried to build a RICO case, and it didn’t stick.
Especially now that we can see the amount of horrifying evidence in the Epstein files, the difference compared to what the feds brought against Diddy is striking.
