Does this count as an artifact? I personally don’t classify sites as artifacts.

Too bad you can’t climb it now. I climbed it in 2010 but when we went back in 2024, it was off limits.

Btw, of what we see today, its a fallacious reconstruction made in 1910, we dont know how originally the pyramid looked like.
Still pretty cool site tho.

I need to visit Teo. I feel like pictures don’t do it justice

Cool fact about Teotihuacan for any that don’t already know this; it was founded *before* the Aztecs and they discovered the abandoned city and renamed it and repurposed the temples that where there for their faith. We still to this day do not know who the original people were, where they were from, or really much about them at all because the Aztecs pretty much redid the whole place, and then years later when the city was rediscovered in the modern age looters took (and continue to take) a bunch of stuff from it

So epic. Holy shit. I love that the Aztecs found it and didn’t know who built it so they called it “City of the Gods.”

Why is the top picture laterally reversed?
