This is how it always goes and it’s exhausting. Notice the right wing media is white washing the fact that the shooter in RI had a long history of mental health issues, and had a literal fucking SS Nazi tattoo on their arm. They also supported Trump and MAGA. Their former existence is an oxymoron: a trans white nationalist that’s as far right as can be in their political opinions. Yet you won’t hear that on Fox News or from any of the grifters blaming this all on being trans. So tiring.

I mean that’s pretty much how any crime story getting political attention is. 3 different men shot their entire family last week and there’s probably not a single political activist or official who mentioned it.
People cherry pick past most mass shootings, police shootings, hate crimes etc. until one has the attributes most useful for an agenda.
