Nice combination of flexibility and agility, still cheating would be hard with this sport so…

I remember when I was in Thailand and a saw a group of guys playing this on the beach. I’ve never seen anything like it before and I was completely mesmerized by it.

    4. Sad that such talent is not internationally recognised nor are they playing in an internationally watched sport, like football.

This is so hardcore yet not violent.

    5. Holy shit.

I’ve never been interested in either volleyball nor soccer, but this is pretty damn cool.

    6. Can it be played on a beach? If they want it to be more popular, travel to places, take over a beach volleyball/volleyball court and see what people think.

In Brazil we call it footvoley, and we play it on the beach, with only two players on each side.

    8. ASEAN organization should really make a push to introduce the sport to the international arena. Or at least start with the South American countries, I think many of them will be interested in the sport.

In my country there is a game like that with a few modifications:

      -ball is bigger, soccer sized
-net is lower but a bit higher than a tennis height net.
-only 4 players, 2 for each team. If the court permits then 6 could participate.
-you can only touch the ball once per player.

It’s called football tennis or something similar.

    10. I’d like to see a clip of amateurs playing this. What does it look like when they’re not unbelievably skilled/athletic?

      What’s its street ball equivalent?
