Wild to think Sun wukong was already cameoing centuries before Journey to the west was even written.
TIL that the “Tri” part of the title “Tripitaka” is the sanskrit word for “three” as in “three baskets”. This is because Sanskrit and Latin share the same root as the source of their language.
