I am yet to meet a millennial who can make it through [A Crisis of Confidence](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sXwZSzy9Ies) without discovering an appreciation for Carter. You can see why Reagan won because Carter’s telling us we need to work to address our problems and that it won’t be easy, but fuck would I miss when we had someone who would talk to the goddamn country like we have actual adults in it.
