Nah even in a big city, you’re fucked. Always gotta know someone and if you just moved there, good fuckin luck

Damn, SpongeBob, you don’t have to rub it in.

One thing i learned very quickly is you have to cheat your way into moving to the Big City. Getting that first apartment is already a song and dance. The only way i pulled it off was by not telling my WFH job about it (we were supposed to stay within 50mi of the office).
If you dont already have a job lined up so you hit the ground running, good fucking luck
My review of living in the Big City: it fucking sucks. I love it

Don’t forget wages are insultingly low even for skilled labor. Many are struggling not only to get hired, but then when they *are* employed, they struggle to make ends meet because they get paid below their qualifications.

patrick confidently saying “finding a job isn’t that hard” while the economy throws every debuff imaginable is painfully accurate 😭 the ghost jobs panel really seals it 💀

Im in a situation where the boring soul crushing jobs pay the best, and the fun easy accessible pay the worse
