The Algerian Ministry of Transport used real mangled cars from scrap yards and added red paint to **simulate** blood to make the consequences of speeding feel as visceral as possible.
Hey, that’s a thing here in Brazil too! There’s a bunch of dummy crashed cars all over my city; they put them there in hopes to make drivers more conscious of what we’re doing.

Something similar is also in iceland. Below the car there is the number of deaths through traffic accidents.

Plot twist: that is indeed a real car crash with the real victims still inside. They weren’t sure how the car even landed there anyways, but it is indeed great advertising and then they just dropped the sign there.

Real blood and a real corpse too. The family is currently fighting the justice system to have the body of their loved one retrieved so they can bury her

For those wondering,
The Algerian Ministry of Transport used real mangled cars from scrap yards and added red paint to **simulate** blood to make the consequences of speeding feel as visceral as possible.
The Arabic text “السرعة هلاك Øتمي” translates to “Speeding is inevitable destruction.” this billboard have actually been quite controversial locally; while some think the bluntness could save lives, others argue that making billboards this graphic actually distracts drivers from the road, potentially causing the very accidents they’re trying to prevent.
Why are you posting this everywhere?
