
In 2012, a 1,000-year-old pre-Hispanic cemetery was discovered in the Ónavas Valley in Sonora, Mexico. The skeletons of 25 people were recovered, with 13 of them having intentional cranial deformations, and 5 of those having dental mutilations as well [1559×2867]
