ACA is under attack and this is the GOP replacement?! I work for a small business so I use ACA. Under my current insurance I can get my medications for 90 days for $6. If I lose my insurance not only will I be paying more for my blood work and doctor visits but his supposed discount only has name brand drugs that costs a little over 600% more and I have to pay it in cash.

    1. Woof, I don’t get mine for $5 (I’ll have to check out amazon pharmacy) but I definitely pay less then that shitty TrumpRx

I’m a pharmacist and something I immediately noticed about the TrumpRx card is it’s just GoodRX with Trump branding on it. The billing routing info is exactly the same. GoodRX has been around forever, they literally didn’t do anything new at all, they must have just contracted with GoodRX for the promotion deal.

    3. I’d rather pay full price than subscribe to anything that he touches, looks at, thinks about or slaps his name on

    4. TrumpRX is just pure bull to make himself try to look good. Did a crappy job though as he doesn’t want to give up even a billion of the trillions he gave to the elite to at least make it look like it’s actually good.

    5. The fine print on all of these “direct to consumer” pharmaceutical sales is that you have to pay for them out of pocket. It’s not going to save you any money if you have insurance unless your coverage is absolute dogshit.

If you’re uninsured, than direct to consumer sales can be helpful, but in all honesty the “list price” for a drug is more of a starting point for negotiations between pharmaceutical companies and insurance companies. It’s rare for anyone to actually pay that price.

    6. Look at it this way. Sure you’d be spending almost 8x the amount you are now, but under the ACA you don’t get any discounts. With Trump RX you get 50% off. That’s huge bigley discount! It’s called the Art of the Deal.

Shit, I never even got to Levothyroxine before giving up. Went to TrumpRX and started searching for my meds in the order they’d been prescribed to me, after the third “not found” I saw the “Browse all 47 medications” link. I think it was all weight loss drugs at that point. Unsurprising that there are no savings to be had.

EDIT: just figured out my mistake was looking for generics rather than name brand. Of course they’re going to just drive people to pay full retail to his campaign contributors instead of the generics that could keep people healthy without bankrupting them.

I no longer find anything this administration does to be humorous. Even watching news casts pisses me off when they laugh. The country is under attack and so much damage has already been done. I know sometimes you have to laugh to keep from crying, but I can’t.

Why does this malignant shitfunnel put his name on everything? He loves taking credit for things he didn’t do.

    10. It’s literally GoodRx except he’s worked out getting a cut now like they do. Grifting shithead

    11. Anyone who would have their medical data go through anything with the Trump name on it is….yeah.

    12. To be fair, the trumprx is for the branded medication and the $5 comparison is the generic.

    13. I love that it also doesn’t address the fact that you have to be able to afford to see the doctor for the prescription. Jfc.

    14. Has anything about Trump’s life not been a joke? Guy managed to succeed in life by being an objective failure of a human.

90 days of Synthroid (name brand) costs us 75 with the Synthroid Delivery program. It was 90 with insurance for the same name brand.
