For me, it’s coding . I’m struggling with data structures right now, but I know if I stop, I’ll never get to the level I want to be at.

    2. Baking….I can cook but I cant bake to save my life. I can cook things by just …knowing flavors. I can whip together random ingredients and bam…its good.

Baking……bread I suck at. Muffins I suck at…I cant bake worth a damn.

    3. Playing hockey. I’ve been the worst player on every team I play for, but man I have fun

    4. I needed this post. I stopped my study/practice in videoediting bcs of pressure, bad esteem and stuff

Dancing. I don’t exactly have two left feet, but I am certainly no John Travolta by the same token. 😂

    7. Running. A year straight of practice once I get to the Wednesday after the next. It didn’t get easier but I did get better and I’ll keep trying. Went from Fat AF with a 16 minute mile to a 10 minute mile (I throw up tho) and almost healthy weight. We’re getting there-

Painting. No matter how many techniques I apply to my work it taxes me to see how slow progress is towards refinement.

But I will continue to pick up my brush and make it the world’s problem.

    9. Started figure skating lessons a year ago. I’m 40.

I go once a week which is not nearly enough to get good anytime soon. But I don’t care. I show up, try, sometimes fall, sometimes get a new achievement badge, sometimes have fun, sometimes feel incredibly frustrated. It’s cool.

    10. Learning other languages, i will get motivated for a while and then lose it. But working on remaining consistent.

    11. Spanish and Japanese. I know more than a little but not even in the neighborhood of fluent, and it’s been many, many years.

    12. Woodworking. I have some cognitive and brain challenges which make it a struggle. A normal person after 36 years would be light years ahead of me in skills, but I keep plugging away as best I can.

    13. Making videos. The passion can be there sometimes but the amount of effort to edit them and never being fully satisfied brings me down

Pushups. About 2 months ago I could barely do 10, yesterday I did 50 in one set and haven’t been that proud of myself in a long time

    15. Miniature painting. I feel like I am mid, it annoys me because I am quite a perfectionist, but I refuse to give up and end being annoyed because I feel like should have come out better.

    16. Drawing. Ive always been drawing but I’ve always sucked at it. But this time is different

    17. Aim training
      Video editing
      3d art.

I enjoy these things so it makes it easier to constantly do

    18. Fishing. I usually don’t catch a darn thing, but I keep going back and fishing more.
