If I were a US Olympian marching out and they showed Vice President Vance and the inevitable booing started. I would just make the “yea, I know too” face shake my head yes in approval. The Trump government is very unpopular with the world AND with the US people. Trump can’t go out to regular events anymore because he will be booed.

I remember my high school biology teacher who was also the football coach saying “I need you to respect me” and I said something to effect of “you need to earn it” the fact that he didn’t just send me straight to office went a very long way to doing just that. I never did like him but I did come to respect him. The fact that he paused and seemed to reflect for a moment and didn’t just react actually made me see him in a completely different light. Later on I wondered if he had said the same thing to someone else in his life and that’s why it resonated with him. I aced his class got seated with some of his jocks and made sure they passed.
