A woman held her wedding in the hospital so her dad, who was in the terminal stages of cancer, could be there for her big day. He passed away just two days later, but he got to see her get married.

So sad. Something like that can affect the entire tone of your marriage for the rest of your life. I hope she was able to go through the grieving process before she took her honeymoon.

This happened to a friend of mine. She was terminal and her daughter got married in the hospital. There were about 20 friends there for support. It’s the last time I saw her alive.

The odd time, just rarely, there’s that one Reddit post, among all the piles of crap on here, that gives me a lump in my throat.
Ok, that’s over… now back to the rest of Reddit that’s a shit show

I know I’m probably alone in this, but my first thought is immediately everything on the hospital floor that she’s dragging her dress through…

We got to celebrate my dad’s last birthday in the hospital as he was dying of stage 4 esophageal cancer. It was really bitter sweet.
