So MAGA screwed up. Above is a map MAGA has been posting about states and ID laws. They say that because those states with no ID laws went Dem than it's because illegal immigrants voted. Now the reason why MAGA loves this map so much is because it's almost exactly like the 2024 electoral map. Trump won almost all of those voter ID states. Here is the kicker and what MAGA didn't realize. Even if the Dems shipped thousands upon thousands of illegal immigrants into these states and the all voted. The Dems would still lose due to the electoral collage. As in, the plot to take over American with illegals is impossible as presented. MAGA isn't upset because illegals did or did not do a thing, they are angry the Dems got votes at all and they just proved it.
MAGA basically gave evidence that proves their fears about illegals voting for Dems is unfounded, and instead shown more evidence about how terrible they really are.

Here in Washington, when I voted, I took my ID out and showed it to my ballot envelope while I filled it out in m underwear at home on a lazy Thursday. Then I mailed it back.
Now imagine if they have their way and having a birth certificate in your current name or a valid passport becomes mandatory for voting

I got ID’d twice Tuesday just to turn in my own absentee ballot in person.
Let’s be honest, the smarter ones of them know that. They just run propaganda machines to dispute the very obvious truth, because that’s the world we live in.

Every time I have voted in person in CA for the last 20 years, they have checked my ID vs my voter registration information.
My state has a voter ID law. You must present when you register to vote and the FIRST time you vote at a precinct.
Sufficed to say, I haven’t shown my ID at my precinct in over 20 years
I think the best example of them ‘screwing’ up their narrative about illegals voting (which they can’t) is the fact when they go into the courts and the courts ask for proof of illegals voting…… they have none. 0, goose egg, zip, nada! it’s all a smoke screen to distract.

How can you voted without an id , in eu you need your id so they know how voted or at least showed up.

Sorry I’m from Ireland. What is the normal voting process in the states. Here we have to attend a local voting office depending on where you live. You show your ID and they mark you off and give you a voting sheet. Vote then put the folded sheet into the voting bins at the same desk we got our sheets. Takes maximum 5mins from arrival to departure. 4 of those mins normally taken up with a quick chat with people you recognise.
I’ve yet to hear an explanation from these idiots as to exactly how “illegal” immigrants are able to vote.

You should clarify your post because it’s confusing.
When you say “even if dems shipped … illegals to these states”, it could be implied you’re talking about the states Trump won, since those are the states you talked about immediately prior.
It took me reading your post half a dozen times or so to realize you were talking about the states that went to Harris.
Did you intend to admit that the only reason you wish to eliminate the Electoral College is to enable the light colored states to completely control national elections, or was that an unintentional oversight?

It’s also a lie. My state (PA) is listed as having a voter id law and our policy EXPLICITLY states that *photo id is not required to vote* in person and a polling place and that poll workers *should not* be asking for one.

The reason Oregon does not require ID to vote is because we are automatically registered to vote through the DMV when you turn 18. So you already can not vote without some sort of state ID automatically.
Our DMV has required Real ID standards for around 15yrs. You must have birth certificate, SSN, and proof of residence by form of approved mail sent to you at said address.
We have stronger protections against fraudulent voting than any red state and we use all paper ballots per universal mail in voting.
Nevada went Republican in the last election, sadly. No income tax means a lot of entitled people settle there.
Im only familiar with how it works here in Iowa, but is the “state has no voter ID law” tag a little misleading?
Do those states not ID you when you register? Like how else would they know you’re eligible. We register in advance so it’s not a huge cumbersome task checking eligibility for everyone at the polling place, but we’ve already been checked for eligibility before we go to the poll…
So to say “no ID” I know they mean “presented at time of voting” but it’s definitely said to suggest “no verification of eligibility” which I’m pretty sure is patently false in all precincts.
Mandatory voting and the a of the electoral college is the only way
As a foreigner, I find it insane that countries can run elections without asking for ID. My home country, Brazil, has specific places where you can vote (single location) and you must present both voter ID and another form of ID. If you do not vote, you cannot get a passport until you justify in the relevant gov department why you did not vote (travel, absent, other, etc).
Requiring ID to vote is normal in most countries.
