That’s where you just laugh at and infantilize it. No different than toddlers hugging or saying some other little kid is their partner. Treat it as an “oh that’s cute” thing and then never treat it, or let them treat it, beyond that.
Also though drill in just how incapable they are of making a proper decision on those topics and how if they REALLY made a wrong decision then their entire life individually would be pretty much over before they even got it started.
About time people got, not the fear of God, but the fear of reality bored into their thick skulls somehow. Who needs to be pretend dating at 13???
