      Chuck Schumer’s response:

“Why the fuck did you do that? We just passed a deal with congress to decrease the amount of orphans shredded by 10%. The system works!”

    2. Or to use a real life example, universal childcare:

Dems: IT’LL NEVER HAPPEN! THERE’S NO MONEY FOR IT! THE GOVERNOR WOULD NEVER APPROVE IT!!

Mamdani, 8 days after inauguration: Here’s billions of dollars, approved by the state, to launch trial programs for universal childcare.

    3. INSERT NAME, we need you more now than. The Republicans are going full force on the infant crusher. For just $5 we….

So as far as I know he has only signed executive orders, that just starts a long process. Trials for universal child care while good, may turn out bad outcomes. I doubt it but without trying it we won’t be sure so that is good, but is far from a revolutionary change from the process. The task forces on cracking down on bad landlords, had been in place before just mayor Adams being the corrupt person he is basically shuttered it. Don’t think that was really Dems approving the orphan crushing machine.

The task force to find land to build more housing over the next decade may fall short of the needed housing, so again not really solving the issue.

I am wanting mamdani to prove me wrong but it has only been a month, we don’t know what his actions may do good or bad for at least a year if not longer. So how about we hold the ticker tape parade until after he has really succeeded.

The infant shredding machine has two modes. On, and off. In the on mode, it shreds infants. In the off mode it doesn’t, but a billionaire might lose the equivalent (to a normal person) of $0.50 a day. Can they risk it?

Well, if you solve a problem, you can’t run on the platform of solving it later.

I’ve been wondering if that wasn’t the reason Trump wasn’t prosecuted during the previous administration, just so they can run on the promise of prosecuting him later.

I’m not anti-Mandani by any means, but let’s wait more than a month before declaring him the messiah.

    8. Personally i feel one of the reasons he’s able to do more is that he has so much grass roots support of the people. I assume this has value when he’s negotiating stuff. And is proof in the benefit of regular people showing up and participating.

Amazing what a difference it makes when you elect someone who gives a damn about helping everyday people
